Welcome to VoxApp, a private, secure, and user-focused messaging platform provided by Galevi s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (“we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use VoxApp.

By using VoxApp, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to collecting as little personal data as possible. However, to provide and improve our services, we may collect the following:

a) Account Information

  • Phone number or email address (used for account creation and login)

  • Display name, profile picture, and status (optional)

b) Messages and Calls

  • End-to-End Encryption: All your messages, calls, voice notes, and files are fully encrypted and can only be read or heard by you and the recipient.

  • We cannot access your messages or calls.

c) Contacts

  • With your permission, we may access your contacts to help connect you with others using VoxApp.

  • Contact information is hashed and never stored in plain form.

d) Usage Data

  • Device information (type, OS version, app version)

  • Crash reports and diagnostics (anonymized)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve VoxApp

  • Verify your identity and deliver messages securely

  • Offer customer support

  • Prevent abuse, spam, and security threats

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Union.

  • We use strong encryption (Signal Protocol) for all messages and calls.

  • We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except:

  • If legally required (e.g., by a valid court order under Czech or EU law)

  • To prevent harm or abuse of the platform

Even in legal cases, we cannot provide content of messages due to end-to-end encryption.

As a user in the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

  • Right to access your data

  • Right to correct or delete your data

  • Right to data portability

  • Right to object or restrict processing

We retain minimal data for as long as necessary to provide the service. Messages are not stored on our servers after delivery. Undelivered messages are encrypted and held temporarily (up to 30 days), after which they are deleted.

VoxApp is not intended for children under 13 (or the age required by local laws). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you in-app or through our website.
